Simsonic vs emnify: IoT connectivity compared

emnify and Simsonic both run global IoT connectivity platforms with multi-IMSI and SGP.32 eSIM. The difference is voice, white label and how the service is packaged. A fair side-by-side.

emnify and Simsonic are closer than most IoT providers. Both offer global SIMs, multi-IMSI steering, SGP.32 eSIM and a cloud platform with an API. If you are comparing the two, the deciding questions are usually voice, white label and how you want the service packaged.

This comparison uses emnify's own published pages, checked on 28 October 2026. Check the source links before you decide, as features change.

Where emnify fits well

emnify has a broad radio range, including satellite plans for devices that work beyond mobile coverage, and its free SGP.32 bootstrap profile is useful for OEMs testing devices on the production line. If you are a hardware maker that needs data-only connectivity and satellite fallback, it is a strong option.

Where Simsonic fits better

Voice and data on one subscriber. Simsonic carries regulated voice alongside data, which matters for telecare, lift lines, alarm panels and any device that needs to make a call when copper lines are switched off in January 2027.

Selling connectivity under your own brand. Simsonic runs white label stores and consoles, so you can resell eSIMs, SIMs and data to your own customers under your name.

More than IoT on one platform. The same Simsonic console handles IoT fleets, business eSIMs for staff, travel data and private 5G and FWA, so one supplier can cover the whole estate.

UK focus. Simsonic is built around UK priorities such as the PSTN switch-off, with the same SIM working in 190+ countries.

How to choose

  1. Does any device or user need voice? If yes, Simsonic covers it on the same subscriber.
  2. Do you need satellite fallback today? If yes, look closely at emnify's satellite plans.
  3. Will you sell connectivity under your own brand?
  4. Do you want IoT, staff connectivity and private networks from one supplier?
